What do we have that is different from most other hotels?
The Randolins is divided into three areas: Mountain Hotel***, Family Resort*** and Hostel. We are therefore organised as a 3-in-1 hotel, so to speak. It is precisely this 'cluster structure' that makes our work very interesting, because on the one hand there is variety and on the other hand you work for three hotels at the same time, so to speak, and so you are even more stimulated.
What is our vision?
Our goal is to make the Randolins one of the best 3-star hotels in the Upper Engadine together with you.
Our working philosophy
A modern corporate culture prevails in our young team. We have set ourselves the goal of being an innovative and attractive employer. Flat hierarchies and a family atmosphere are a given. We are on a first-name basis and treat each other with respect and honesty. We support each other, even between different departments.
We expect our team to act as hosts and take responsibility. Self-initiative and high quality standards are extremely important to us. For each season we set ourselves goals that we want to achieve together.
The team concept is very important to us. Because only when everyone pulls together in the same direction and everyone puts in their own piece of the puzzle, will the overall picture be perfect for the guest. For example, tips are collected from all departments during the season and then divided among all employees according to their percentage of work. Because the casserole chef or waitress contributes as much to providing a wonderful stay for the guest as, say, a Chef de Rang or receptionist.
We promote the training and further education of the new generations in the sector. We are a training company for apprentices and trainees from various hotel schools. Depending on the type and benefit of the training, we also contribute financially to the further training of loyal employees.
Working Conditions
The terms of employment are, of course, based on the national collective labour agreement for the hotel and restaurant industry (www.l-gav.ch). We work with the Mirus management software, which also includes a fingerprint clock. Every minute worked is thus recorded. It goes without saying that excess working days or hours are compensated where possible or paid at the end of the contract.

You have already been with us for a full season and are you coming back for the next season?
We will reward you with a loyalty bonus of CHF 200.
Paid out in August/February, provided that you are still employed at that time (in a non-terminated employment relationship).
To get to know our hotel from the guest's point of view, we invite you to spend one night including breakfast and with a companion as a guest.
On your first day at work, you will be given an introductory program to ensure that all relevant points are explained to you and that you are optimally trained. In addition, you will have a "godfather" (godfather) at your side, who will accompany you during the induction.
Our staff houses Chesa Margna/Chesa Corvatsch are located in the middle of the hotel grounds. Here we offer comfortable rooms for seasonal employees at extremely fair prices.
It is very important to us that our employees can develop further. In addition to apprentices, we also regularly train interns from hotel management schools. In addition, depending on the type and benefit of the training, we are also happy to contribute financially to the further training of loyal employees.
"Training on the job" takes place with us on an ongoing basis. Upon request, we can also provide insights into other departments. In addition, we conduct internal training several times per season (e.g. sales training, wine tasting, menu test eating, destination knowledge, safety training, etc.).
Family members and loyal friends stay with 30% discount on the daily rate on room/breakfast basis (subject to availability, except high season).
You will receive a 10% discount on your consumption in our a la carte restaurant Stüvetta.
Our Randolins masseur Rudy Streiff (Healing Art) gives you a 20% discount on massages.
Between Monday and Thursday, our wellness area with steam bath, bio sauna, Finnish sauna and whirlpools is available to our employees from 2 pm to 4 pm.
At the beginning and end of each season we sit together in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, we inform you about the course of business and the various innovations around the Randolins.
If you refer a new employee to us, you will be paid CHF 500 as a bonus as soon as this person has passed the probationary period and you are still employed by us without notice.
You afford the season or annual pass for the mountain railroads in the Engadin St. Moritz region? We will gladly contribute CHF 200 per year (the period from 01.06. to 31.05. is taken into account).
At Ivo Sport you get at least 20% discount on the rental prices for ski and snowboard equipment.
Of course you can park your car for free in our parking (outside parking).
During the summer season you can borrow our hotel mountain bikes free of charge. We also offer daily rental of e-mountain bikes at special rates.
Our hotel shuttle runs daily between 8:30 am and 6 pm according to the timetable to the village and back. You are welcome to use it free of charge. Please note that guests have priority.
